The Ultimately Perfected Avocado Toast Recipe

Picture this. You’re out and about and stop for a bite to eat. You’re watching your figure so you want something light and satisfying. You browse the menu and see ‘Avocado Toast' and think "bingo". You pay eight plus dollars for fruit on toast with various toppings and its bland, lackluster and just straight up sucks! To that I say no more! Here is the revamped, ultimately perfected, avocado toast recipe that will have you refuse to ever pay for this simple treat outside of your home again! 


  • 2 slices of bread of your choice (toasted)

  • one ripe avocado 

  • teaspoon salt 

  • 2 tablespoon flax seed

  • 2 tablespoon turmeric

  • 2 tablespoon spice mix (garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper)

  • 1/2 chopped red onion

  • A sprig of chopped cilantro

  • half cut cherry tomatoes 

  • 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon juice 



Measurements to be used evenly for both slices of toast. This is a chunky style avocado recipe for a more rustic, taste worthy approach but feel free to prepare according to your liking.


  • Toast your bread. 

  • While bread is toasting, begin to dice your red onion, lightly mince your cilantro and cut your cherry tomatoes in half

  • Cut your avocado in half and remove the pit. Proceed with cutting 1/2 inch slices for both halves of your avocado and scoop out with a spoon. You can dice your avocado as well.

  • Neatly spread your avocado slices n’ dices across your toasted bread

  • Begin to season with salt, flax seed, turmeric, spice mix. In that order. Its all about the seasoning!

  • After seasoning, generously add your produce toppings. Red onion, cilantro, cherry tomatoes. In that order.

  • Finish off with a fresh squeeze of lemon juice. Enjoy!
